NOTICE OF VOTE ON TAX RATE

The CITY OF GROESBECK conducted public hearing on a proposal to increase the total tax revenues of the CITY OF GROESBECK from properties on the tax roll in the preceding year by 6.92 percent on August 30, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. and September 4, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.  The Groesbeck City Council is scheduled to vote on the tax rate that will result in that tax increase at a public meeting to be held on September 11, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. at Groesbeck City Hall at 402 W. Navasota St. in Groesbeck, Texas.

CITY OF GROESBECK ADOPTED A TAX RATE

City of Groesbeck will adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate.

The tax rate will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $0.00.
