Welcome to the City of Groesbeck Customer Service Site.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.  We are closed from noon to 1:00 pm.

Obtaining Water Services:  Before New Service or Transfer of Service is granted, an Occupancy Inspection must be completed and approved by Code Enforcement.  Once this has been concluded, Water Services may be obtained.

To obtain New Water Service with the City of Groesbeck the following must be completed:
  • An application must be completed and submitted with a picture I.D. 
  • Tenants requesting water service shall be required to provide a copy of their lease or signed Proof of Rental Agreement for the property to be served.  No one other than the lessee, as shown on the lease, or landlord/property owner may receive service.
  • For same day connection the account must be completed before 4:30 p.m.  
  • All orders for service requested after 4:30 pm will be completed the following business day. 
  • The resident or their designee (18 years or older) must to be on site for the service connection.

Residential Water Deposits: $150.00/ Garbage Rates: $13.39 Per Month/ Garbage Cans: $2.00 Per Month

To report a missed pickup or to have a cart or recycle bin replaced- please call the Customer Service office during regular business hours.

Billing/Account information:
Our office will be happy to assist you with any questions you have concerning your account. If you notice any City related items that are in need of repair or City attention, please contact our office (254) 729-3293 Ext.1.

Utility Billing & Payment Procedures

After hours EMERGENCY calls can be made to (254) 645-0255. This number is answered during the hours of 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. and on weekends and holidays. A City Employee will be dispatched to the location for service. Please provide the call taker with as much information about the problem as possible and a call back telephone number in case it is needed.
